Hard Times
we've been walking through the hard times
see the good news vanish way before it's shown
but i don't fake a smile
cuz i know the time is going
taking advantage while-while the chance is good
you got sad eyes, never realized
lost your balance, got no talent
broke and flat is less you know that
yeah, you got the hard times on your side
kicks you down
more than you ever been before
take a second try
you'll be home before you know it

policeman writes me up a big fine
he's filling up my year with talk about the law
but i don't hear his hassle
cuz i know that he's an asshole
writing up the slip and jacking off his jaw
Music makes me want to sob. I don't really know what to do with myself of break aka summer. I'm applying for a part time job at The Home Depot and Whole Foods as well as working at the glass center on Saturdays. Life is about to get pretty difficult these next few years. The comforts and consistency of home are no longer going to be there. It's scary as hell and I'm not sure I'm ready for it. It still feels like 2001 to me.
