My incentives for making a photo elective include:
-Learning how to develop film from a Holga camera
-Learning how to photograph work possibly
-Gaining a new perspective
My new found inspiration to minor in printmaking is for the following reasons:
-Insane amount of detail
-Very well represented in the Stella Elkins Gallery right now
-Large LARGGGGGE prints
-Beautiful work that has come before us contemporary artists (ie Durer)
-You can get insane with detail and I love printing. It's a very calming process.
-Many, many more reasons.
Overall, I wish the printmaking department had more of an opportunity to present today.
